Alber Elbaz’s Anniversary Gift to Lanvin

Lanvin and its creative director Alber Elbaz celebrate their 10 year love affair with an exclusive accessories capsule collection.

(Paris Vogue) Back in March, Alber Elbaz celebrated his tenth anniversary as the creative director of  Lanvin with a spectacular Fall/Winter 2012 show. We will never forget Alber Elbaz serenading Lanvin with Doris Day’s “Que Sera, Sera,” singing, “When I was just a little boy, I asked my mother, ‘What will I be?’ as one of this year’s great fashion moments. Now he will spoil us again with an exclusive accessory capsule collection named Happy Birthday, combining the iconic symbols of the house with an haute couture refinement in the details, fabrics and colors.

With Les Dessins d’Alber (Alber’s drawings), Coeur strasse (rhinestone heart), Tulle et perles, Patchwork de crocodile, Bijou the collection is divided into ten themes build around a pair of shoes, the Happy bag and an exclusive piece of jewelry.  Happy Birthday to Lanvin and Alber!  We’re toasting a love affair that we hope will last a lifetime.

The Happy Birthday Lanvin collection will be available in stores beginning August.
