(Style.com) Charlotte Dellal comes from a family of women who like a strong look. There’s her mother, Andrea, a onetime Brazilian model who embodies jet-set chic; there’s her drum-playing, punkish sister Alice, she of the famous half-shaved hairdo (and Chanel campaigns); and then there’s Charlotte. “I guess I’d describe my style as nostalgic,” says the Charlotte Olympia shoe designer, whose perfectly applied red lip, throwback waves, penchant for hat-wearing, and vertiginous platform heels have made her an icon of refined glamour. “Obviously, I take a lot of inspiration from the 1940′s,” she continues, “in particular the idea that you should look glamorous every day. My beauty routine is essentially the same whether it’s Saturday night or Monday morning.” But Dellal swears that her perfectly painted face is less high-maintenance than it may appear—and as both a mother and the proprietor of an expanding accessories empire, it’s true that she doesn’t have much time to spare for her toilette. “I go to the salon to have my hair set, and that’s my hair done for the week. And aside from my red lipstick, I like a pretty bare face. There’s not much too it,” she insists—except for these 17 can’t-live-without products, of course.
