DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE IN 3 WORDS: Fun, relaxed, stylish.
STYLE ICON: Lauren Hutton or Jane Birkin.
WEEKDAY OUTFIT GO-TO: I dress to suit my mood or any events I may have that day. I always start with my essential staples—leather leggings, T-shirts, and knitwear—and then add key pieces.
SIGNATURE ACCESSORIES: A great pair of shoes and statement ring.
WHAT’S THE ONE PIECE THAT REALLY PULLED AT YOUR PURSE STRINGS? My Lanvin Amalia Voyage leather suitcase. With all the traveling I do, I felt it was worth buying something I loved as much as the clothes that go in it.
WHO IS THE MOST STYLISH WOMAN YOU’VE SEEN AND WHY? For me, this always changes. Caroline Issa from Tank magazine definitely has her own style and always looks incredible.
WHAT DO YOU BUY IN BULK? Lightweight cashmere and black and white T-shirts.
WHAT WOULD YOU NEVER WEAR? Head-to-toe animal print.
BEST FALL TREND: I am a huge leather fan—I never leave home without my Rick Owens leather jacket. This fall I’m really excited about all the variations on the theme, like the head-to-toe look at Yves Saint Laurent, Proenza Schouler’s feminine and flirty version, and the cool, rock-inspired pant from our new label, Les Chiffoniers.
EARLY STYLE INFLUENCER: My seventh-grade science teacher never wore the same outfit twice. That always stuck in my head and has encouraged me to try to dress differently every day.
WARDROBE MVP: I’m all about colored pants right now. My favorites are J Brand colored jeans.
ITEM YOU’LL NEVER PART WITH: A vintage white faux-fur coat that my mother gave to me.
HOW OFTEN DO YOU REPEAT OUTFITS? It depends on how iconic the piece is. I give it thought if it’s discernible, but if it’s a basic I’ll wear it all the time.
ARE YOU AN EDITOR OR BUILDER? A builder. I try once a year to clean out my closet, but it’s a painful process and I don’t like parting with fashion!
