I have long been a lover of French Vogue, and regularly go out of my way to the specific book stores that carry it, pester friends/mon bel homme to pick it up in the airport when they travel/order it from dodgy eBay sellers. The photo spreads are amazing, and one of my favorite features of the magazine is the massive shoots they do profiling each designer at the beginning of every season- a snapshot of the entire collection as styled by French Vogue staff that results in a stunning profile of the twice-yearly fashion shows. Here, Women’s Wear Daily explores the transition the magazine is going through in their September issue. The visual tweaks come 18 months after Emmanuelle Alt succeeded my beloved Carine Roitfeld as editor in chief.
