I absolutely love To Kill a Mockingbird (the book and the film) and so I was thrilled to hear that one of my favorite labels, Oliver Peoples, was doing a line of tribute eyewear! Below, Vogue Paris gives the details:
The eyewear label pays tribute to Harper Lee’s Pulitzer-Prize winning novel To Kill a Mockingbird with a series of Gregory Peck-inspired frames.
Fifty years ago the author Harper Lee received the Pulitzer-Prize for his novel To Kill a Mockingbird, a great American literature classic. To mark the anniversary, eyewear label Oliver Peoples has created a new frame collection, inspired by the glasses worn by actor Gregory Peck during his Academy Award winning performance as Atticus Finch in 1962′s To Kill a Mockingbird movie. These retro classic sunglasses are already on sale in the Parisian boutique colette.
