I have a bit of a bad habit of buying too many monthly magazines. Vogue (always U.S. and Paris versions, I also like the Nippon version to see what Anna Del Russo is up to), Elle, Harpers Bazaar, W, Neon, Town & Country, Tatler, Grazia, and even Architectural Digest for some variety. I know, I know… But I do read all of them and when you come to visit I will always share them with you. As much as I love flipping through the glossy pages to see the latest genius from Anna Wintour, Grace Coddington, and Emanuelle Alt, I almost always am more inspired by what I see from my favorite street style blogs. The Sartorialist, Jak & Jil, and the Street Peeper all provide wonderful photographs from the streets of New York, Paris, Milan, London, and many other places. Seeing how real people put together their ensembles is hugely inspirational.
Whenever I’m feeling like I’m in a rut I turn to these sites for ideas on how to incorporate my old pieces in with new purchases or how a certain handbag looks with different silhouettes. They really are a great source of creative inspiration and I highly recommend them for when you’re sitting at your desk on a slow day or trying to figure out what to wear. Happy browsing!!
