One of the most anticipated collaborations of the year, the Target + Neiman Marcus Holiday Collection, was unveiled earlier this week. The two mega-retailers are evoking holiday cheer with this affordable collection, featuring over 50 limited-edition designer products from $7.99 to $499.99, available December 1. When the company nabbed model of the moment Karlie Kloss for the ad campaign, the media frenzy over this holiday partnership reached fever-pitch. Now, Target has released even more details and photos of the huge meeting of the stores. (A shopping Yalta, if you will.)
Although you’ll have to wait another month or so to purchase these items, for now we can get excited over which items will make fabulous gifts — or which we’ll be snagging for ourselves. I am very excited about this and also slightly worried. Target and Neiman Marcus represent two opposing shopping styles in my head. At Neiman’s I only break out my store card after I’ve carefully selected the items I would like to purchase. At the other end of the spectrum, I walk into Target for toothpaste and end up spending $70 on things I never knew I needed. This may be a recipe for disaster for my holiday shopping list. Here, a look at some of my favorite things from the collection, featuring pieces from 24 CFDA designers.

If you know ANYONE that has a little girl, this is just too adorable (and I don’t normally get mushy about this sort of thing).
